UMS is led by Olaf Steckstor, Master Mariner, former officer of the German Navy, former First Officer and Captain of the NATO Research Vessel ALLIANCE, former superyacht captain and project manager on some of the world’s most demanding newbuild and refit projects.

Shipyard

ISKRA Shipyard in Croatia operates two strategically located facilities in Rijeka and Šibenik under unified management, engineering and quality control. Rijeka specialises in steel construction and technical outfitting and participated in major projects such as Scenic Eclipse II and other highly sophisticated vessels. Šibenik specialises in advanced aluminium construction and high-end outfitting as well as refitting and construction of military and government vessels. ISKRA has delivered more than 130 aluminium catamarans and is positioned as a North-European standard shipyard in Croatia.
